The "KI4me" roadshow, which tours Saxony in the summer of 2019, supports the transfer of technological knowledge from the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the provision of existing technologies for companies with project workshops of AI actors, among other things. The next roadshow stop will take place on 28 August in Krauschwitz (Lusatia).
The project "Artificial Intelligence - Competences and Innovation Potential in Saxony" (KIKiS) was launched in order to use existing innovation potentials in the AI environment and to strengthen the competitiveness of small- and medium-sized enterprises. Supported by the Saxon State Ministry of Economics, Labor and Transport, Fraunhofer IIS/EAS, together with the Technical University of Dresden, is also investigating the specific needs and requirements for the development and use of AI in companies.
The "KI4me" roadshow is an important building block that supports in particular the transfer of technological knowledge and the provision of existing technologies for SMEs. The series of events with stops in various Saxon regions is an exchange platform that is intended to initiate joint projects between the actors and to pursue the transfer of AI knowledge from science to industry. The free format is also ideal for companies that are not yet active in the AI sector and want to sound out potential or find powerful partnerships.
After stops in Dresden, Leipzig and the Vogtland, the roadshow will stop in Lusatia on the afternoon of 28 August 2019. The initial results of the study "Artificial Intelligence - Competences and Innovation Potential in Saxony" will hereby be presented and, from a company perspective, the practical possibilities of digitalization and AI for small- and medium-sized companies will be examined more closely. The main focus will also be on the direct exchange between the various current and future actors. An AI project workshop with practical issues and demonstrators will facilitate targeted technical discussions and the initiation of partnerships.
